About Me
In a Nutshell:
I was born in the great North Star State of Minnesota and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota in Theatre Arts and French. After graduating, I continued post-graduate studies in PreVeterinary Medicine. I then moved to Los Angeles to act on the "big screen", but found myself substituting more and more to supplement my acting income. It was during this time that I was bitten by the teaching bug. Therefore, I went back to school to receive my teaching credential. I taught six years in East Los Angeles before moving to Austin to teach in RRISD. I've been teaching Talented and Gifted since 2011. It's an incredible feeling to know that I've finally found my niche!
Fun Facts about Me:
*Rehabilitated raccoons for 5 years back in Minnesota
*Attended the Université d'Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France
*Belong to Screen Actors Guild
